Simon Brock
I have been writing grants on a voluntary basis for many years and have developed a particular interest in funding for community spaces and buildings. I am based in the South Lakes and have strong links with a number of funders. I also have experience of Lottery and local government grants. I have developed a good knowledge of funding for education settings, working with schools and PTAs to secure funding for essential school needs. Through my years as a trustee for a number of charities, I have a passion for charity governance and have set up charities in my local area that have gone on to gain significant funding.

With a passion for governance we can make sure that your charity is grant ready, making sure you have the governance and safeguarding in place whether you’re just starting up or a long standing charity in need of updating. We can also signpost you to training for trustees on roles and responsibilities and help you develop a governing body that is effective and fit for the future.
